Bombay Biryani Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gm chawal (rice)
  • 1 cup tail (oil)
  • 3 piyaz (onion)
  • 500 gm chicken pieces
  • 2 tbsp adrak lehsan paste (ginger garlic)
  • 1 cup dahi (yogurt)
  • 1 tbsp pissi laal mirch (red chili powder)
  • 1 tsp haldi (turmeric)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder (all spices)
  • Hasb e zaeqa namak (salt to taste)
  • 1 tsp zeera (cumin)
  • 1 tsp jaifel javetri (nutmeg, mace)
  • 2 tsp zarde ka rang (food color)
  • 4 timatar (tomatoes)
  • 5 aalu bukhare (plums)
  • 2 tbsp hara dhania (coriander leaves)
  • 2 tbsp podina (mint)
  • 1 neembu ka rass (lemon juice)
  • 4 hari mirch (green chili)
  • 2 tbsp khewra essence

Directions

Sab se pehle chawal ubaal len_phir ek pan main tail garam karke piyaz or adrak lehsan paste brown karlen_phir isme chicken ,dahi, food color, timatar or tamam masale daal kar achi tarah mix karlen_jab qorma tayar hojae to chulah bilkul ahista karlen_phir qorme ke upar ublay chawal phela den_or chawal ke upar zarde ka rang ,khewra  essence main mila kar daalen or hara dhania , podina or aalu bukhare upar se daal kar 15 se 20 minutes ke liye dum par rakh den_
