- 1 cup dahi (yogurt)
- 2/1 kg chawal (rice)
- 2 piyaz (onion)
- 3 timatar (tomato)
- 3 jave lehsan (garlic cloves)
- 6 hari mirch (green chili)
- 2 tbsp lehsan adrak (ginger garlic)
- 12 curry pattay
- 1 cup podina (mint)
- 1 tsp namak or laal mirch (salt and red chili)
- 1 tsp haldi (turmeric)
- 1 tbsp zeera (cumin)
- 1 tbsp garam masala (all spices)
- 1 tbsp salan masala
- 2 tezpata (bay leaf)
- 6 long (cloves)
- 2 tukray daarcheeni (cinnamon sticks)
- 12 aalu bukhare (plums)
- 1 tbsp till (sesame seeds)
- 1 tbsp khashkhash (poppy)
- 1/4 cup rang (feed color)
