Mash Ki Daal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 gm daal mash
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 100 gm makhan (butter)
  • 1 tsp katti adrak (ginger chopped)
  • 1 piyaz katti hoi (onion chopped)
  • 6 sabit laal mirch (button red chili)
  • 6 hari mirch ( green chili)
  • 1 tsp kata lehsan (garlic chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp kutti kaali mirch (black pepper crushed)
  • 1 tsp pissa zeera (cumin powder)
  • 1 tsp safed zeera (white cumin)
  • 1/2 gathi podina (mint 1/2 bunch)
  • 1/2 gathi hara dhania (coriander leaves 1/2 bunch)
  • Hasb e zarurat pani (water as required)
  • Hasb e zaeqa namak (salt to taste)
  • Chirakne ke liye garam masala (for sprinkle)

Directions

Kata hua piyaz adha lekar isko ghee main fry karlen_or sath hi adrak lehsan shamil karden_
Daal main 1/2 kg pani daal kar pakne den sabit laal mirch ko tor kar daal den or kaali mirch, zeera or namak daal den_
Daal ko galne ke liye chor den_
Jab gal jae to ek degchi main ghee daal kar piyaz daal den_
Daal ko piyaz ka tarka laga len or makhan shamil karden_
Garam masala chirak len or garnish karne ke liye podina, hara dhania or hari mirchen daal kar garnish karlen or serve karen_:)
