Ingredients
- 2-3 litres pani (water)
- 3/4 cupa jai (barley soaked overnight)
- 1-1/2 cups gandum/ gehu (wheat soaked overnight)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2-3 tbsp tail (oil)
- 2 tsp adrak lehsan paste (ginger garlic paste)
- 1/2 kg boneless chicken
- 1 tbsp pissi laal mirch (red chili powder)
- 1/2 tbsp pissa dhania (coriander powder)
- 1 tsp haldi (turmeric)
- 1 tbsp hari mirch (green chili)
- 1-1/2 tsp namak (salt)
- 1 cup dahi (yogurt)
- 3 tbsp talli piyaz (fried onion)
- 2 chicken cubes
- Hasb e zaeqa namak (salt to taste)
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp jaifil javatri powder (mace & nutmeg powder)
- Hasb e zarurat chaat masala (as required)
Ingredienta for tarka
- 1/4 cup tail (Oil)
- 1 katti piyaz (onion slices)
Directions
Ek pan main2-3 litres pan main jau or gandum ko 30 minutes tak ubaalen_
Phir baking soda shamil karke dhakan dhak kar takreeban 1-1/2 ghanta galne tak pakaen_
Ab ek pan main 2-3 tbsp tail main adrak lehsan or boneless chicken shamil karen_
Chicken ka rang tabdeel hone tak pakaen_
Ab laal mirch, dhania powder, haldi, hari mirch, namak or dahi shamil karke galne tak pakne den_
Phir talli piyaz shamil karke mix karen_
Ab bowl main nikaal kar chicken ko resha karlen or ek taraf rakh den_
Ab gandum or jau ke galne ke baad achi tarah blend karlen_
Phir usme resha ki hoi tayar chicken or chicken cubes shamil karke achi tarah apas main mix karden_
Ab namak shamil karden_
Agar haleem zada garha hojaye to thora garam pani daal kar mix karen_
Phir dubara blend karlen_
Ab garam masala, jaifil javatri powder or chaat masala shamil karke mix karen_
Tarke ke liye 1/4 cup tail main piyaz golden brown karlen_
Ab tayar piyaz haleem main shamil karke achi tarah mix karlen_
Ab dish main nikaal ke garnish karke serve karen_:)
