Malka Daal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg kali masoor daal (black lentil gram washed)
  • 1 litre pani (water)
  • 1-1/2 tsp lehsan paste (garlic paste)
  • 1-1/2 tsp adrak paste (garlic paste)
  • 1 tsp zeera powder (cumin powder)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp laal mirch powder (red chili powder)
  • 1 tsp haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 tsp namak (salt)
  • 1/2 cup dahi (yogurt grinded)
  • 1/2 cup tail (oil)
  • 4 anday (boiled eggs)

Ingredients for Tarka

  • 3/4 cups tail (oil)
  • 1 piyaz (onion small)
  • 5-6 sabut laal mirch (whole red chili)
  • 4-5 jave lehsan (garlic cloves)
  • 1-1/2 tsp zeera (cumin seeds)
  • 8-10 curry pata (curry leaves)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

Directions

Pan main kali masoor daal, pani, lehsan paste, adram paste, zeera, garam masala powder, laal mirch powder, namak or haldi powder daal ke ubaal len_

Phir achi tarah mix karen or dhak kar halki anch par 30 mins ya gal jane tak pakaen_
Ab dahi daal kar achi tarah mix karen or masher ki madad se achi tarah mash karlen_
Ab halki anch par 8-10 mins ke lye pakaen or phir side pe rakh den_
Frying pan main oil or boiled anday dal kar golden brown fry karlen phir aide pe rakh kar do hisso main cut karlen_
Tarke ke liye frying pan main oil or piyaz dal den or naram hone tak fry karlen_
Ab sabut laal mirch or lehsan daal kar achi tarah mix karlen_
Phir zeera or curry pata daal kar achi tarah mix karen_
Tarke ko tayar kaali masoor dal par daal den, fried anday se garnish karen_
Akhir main garam masala chirak kar serve karen_:)
