Aalu Tikki Bunkabab Recipe

Ingredients

  • Hasb e zarurat pani (water as required)
  • 3/4 cups chanay ki daal (split bengal gram)
  • 1/2 inch adrak (ginger)
  • 1 chutki haldi (1 pinch turmeric)
  • 3-4 long (cloves)
  • 4 sabut laal mirch (button red chilies)
  • 1 small darcheeni (cinnamon stick)
  • 5 sabut kaali mirch (black pepper corn)
  • 1/2 tsp zeera (cumin seeds)
  • 3-4 aalu (potatoes boiled)
  • 1 tsp namak (salt)
  • 1/4 cup piyaz (onion chopped)
  • 1 tbsp podina (mint leaves chopped)
  • 4 hari mirch (green chili chopped)
  • 1/4 cup hara dhania (green coriander chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 anda (egg)

Ingredients for bunkabab chatney

  • 2 jave lehsan (garlic cloves)
  • 1/2 tsp namak (salt)
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 hari mirch (green chili)
  • 1 tsp nimbu ka rass (lemon juice)
  • 1/4 cup imli ka pulp (tamarind pulp)
  • 1/2 cup dahi (yogurt)
  • Handful podina (mint leaves)
  • Handful hara dhania (green coriander)
  • 2 phentay ande (eggs beaten)

Directions

Pehle degchi min pani daalen_

Ab chanay ki daal adrak, haldi, long, sabut laal mirch, daarcheeni, kaali mirch or zeera shamil karke daal ko galne tak or pani sukhne tak pakaen_
Jab daal gal jaye to usse nikaal kar grinder main achi tarah grind karlen_
Ab ek bowl main aaluo ko mash karlen_
Phir isme namak, piyaz, podina, hari mirch, hara dhania, chaat masala, anda or daal ka mixture daal kar achi tarah mix karke 10-15 mins freezer main rakhen_
Ab is aamezay ke kababs patty banae_
Bunkabab chatney ke liye lehsan, namak, chaat masala, hari mirch, nimbu ka rass, imli ka pulp, dahi, podina or hara dhania ko ache se grind karke mix karke side pe rakh dena_
Ab tawe pe tail daalen or kabab ko phentay hue ande main dip karke fry karlen_
Ab bunkabab ko bech mese kaat kar senk len_
Ab bunkabab ke ek slice pe tayar chatney lagaen_
Phir ispe piyaz, tamatar, tayar kabab or thori c band gobhi rakh ke bunkabab ke dosre slice pe chatney laga ke bunkabab ko band karlen_
Mazedar aalu tikki bunkabab tayar hai ab isse serve karen_:)
