Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg chawal (rice)
  • 1/2 kg gurr (jaggery)
  • 4-3 long (cloves)
  • 6-8 choti ilaichi (cardamom)
  • 3/4 cups ghee
  • 1 tsp sonf (fennel seeds)
  • Badam & narial (almonds & narial for serving)

Directions

Pan main ghee garam karen_
Phir isme ilaichi, long or sonf daalen_
Jab halka fry hoto isme jata gurr shamil karke 1-1/2 cups pani daal kar itna pakaen ke gurr ghul jaye_
Ab isme chawal shamil karen_
Jab gurr ka sheera jazb hojaye to chawalo ko dum par rakh den_
Tayar hone par badaam or narial daal kar serve karen_:)
