Matar Chawal (Rice With Peas) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chawal (rice)
  • 1 cup matar (peas)
  • 1 piyaz (onion)
  • 1 chutki zaffran (1 pinch saffron)
  • 500 ml murghi ki yakhni (chicken stock)
  • 2 tsp bhuna zeera (roasted cumin)
  • Hasb e zarurat tail (oil as required)
  • Hasb e zaeqa namak (salt to taste)

Directions

Pan main tail daal kar isme piyaz, zeera or daarcheeni daal kar bhune_
Ab matar daal kar fry karlen or chawal shamil karke yakhni bhi daal den_
Yakhni daalne ke baad namak daalen or pakne den_
Tayar hone par dum pe rakh den_
Dum ke baad zaffran mix karen_
Phir dish main nikaal ke garam garam serve karen_:)
