- 1 bunch palak (spanish)
- 1 bunch bhatua saag (goosefoot) optional
- 1 bunch taza methi (fenugreek leaves)
- 12-15 jave lehsan (garlic cloves)
- 8-10 hari mirch (green chili)
- 1-1/2 tsp namak (salt)
- 2-3 tbsp makai ka atta (maize flour/cornmeal)
Ingredients for tarka
- 1 tbsp tail (oil)
- 2-3 tbsp makhan (butter)
- 1 tbsp lehsan (garlic sliced)
- 7-8 sabut laal mirch (button red chili)
- 2-3 tbsp adrak (ginger julienne)
Directions
Sarson ka saag, bhatua saag, palak or taza methi ko achi tarah dho kar kaat len_
Pan main sarson ka saag, bhatua saag, palak, taza methi, lehsan, hari mirch chopped or namak daal kar mix karen, or ubaal anay tak paka len_
Dhak kar halki anch par 2-3 ghantay ke liye paka len_
Jab pak jaye to sare mixture ko hand blender ki madad se blend karlen or makai ka atta daal kar achi tarah bhun len or saag garha honay tak paka len, side par rakh den_
Tarkay ke liye frying pan main oil or garam karen lehsan, sabut laal mirch or adrak daal kar light brown honay tak saute karlen_
Ab tarkay ko sarso ke saag ke upar daal den_
Sarson ka saag tayar hai isse makai ki roti ke sath serve karen_:)
