Chukandar gosht Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 darmiyani kati piyaz (1 medium onion chopped)
  • 1 tbsp adrak lehsan paste (ginger garlic paste)
  • 1/2 kg beef
  • 1-1/2 tsp laal mirch powder (red chili powder)
  • 1/2 tsp dhania powder (coriander powder)
  • 1 tsp namak (salt)
  • 1/4 tsp haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 2-3 cups pani (water)
  • 1/2 kg chukandar (beat root grated)
  • 2-3 kate tamatar (tomatoes chopped)
  • 2-3 tbsp imli ka gooda (tamarind pulp)
  • 3 tbsp kata hara dhania (coriander leaves chopped)
  • 1-2 kati hari mirch (green chili chopped)

Directions

Degchi main oil, piyaz or adrak lehsan paste daal kar naram honay tak saute karen_

Beef shamil karen or gosht ka rang tabdeel honay tak fry karen_

Laal mirch powder, dhania powder, namak or haldi powder daal kar achi tarah mix karen_

Pani daal kar ubaal len, dhak kar haldi anch par gosht gal janay tak pakaen_

Chukandar or tamatar shamil karke achi tarah milaen_

Dhak kar 6-8 mins ke liye paka len_

Imli ka gooda shamil karke achi tarah milaen_

Hara dhania or hari mirchen shamil karen or 1-2 mins ke liye dum par rakh den_
